Hi

After some advice on what to do next.

Bought a 2nd hand Lenovo ThinkStation P710 PC from a highly rated ebay seller.

PC boots up, but when I get into the BIOS by pressing the F1 key, the display will show for a second, then disappear 1 second , then show, then disappear etc. You get the idea.

Now when I hit the Esc key to exit BIOS, the yes/no prompt will appear and the screen display will stay on! But as soon as I select No to go back into the BIOS the screen will flicker on/off again.

The BIOS version seems to be the latest, but I'm thinking to flash it again as my last hope to fix the screen flashing.

Can anyone offer advice as the best method to flash the BIOS on Lenovo PCs? Or suggest I try something else?

Hey @helpstar thank you for your reply.

I managed to get the PC going long enough to install Win11 and updates. BUT after about an hour the screen started flicking on and off again. This video card is a 2nd hand card that I bought off FB Marketplace (Quadro K2200).

So I installed the original card that I got with the PC (Quadro M2000). No good. No output at all from either of the 4 DP ports. I've contacted the seller asking if I can get another card sent out after I return the faulty card.

All in all I think that the video card was faulty. I will see how I go with the seller from here.
