Question Lenovo x1 carbon- slow

So I have a lenovo X1 carbon for about 3+ years. A few months back when it was still under warranty there was an issue because of which there were replacement made. Long story short all components except the screen were replaced by Lenovo. However, after the repair it is is very slow intermittently, sometimes its CPU consumption goes to 100% even when it is idle. I can share a video if it helps.. I have given it to lenovo service center and they keep saying nothing is wrong so basically they are not able to figure out what is wrong. I have tried formatting the windows multiple times and as per the service center bios was also updated. I cannot figure out what the problem is. Can anyone guide me what needs to be done.

config i7-7500. 2.7 GHZ
16 gig ram.

Run Something like Speccy and see if all the components you are supposed to have are actually there.
It wouldn't be the first time a service center made a downgrade to get something out the door.

done that.. config seems fine.

gusy any help will be appreciated.. i am at wit's end trying to understand what the issue here will be. its an expensive laptop and feels like its a waste that I cannot use it.

See which bios version you have and check /google to see the known issues.
Lenovo had a batch of bios's across several platforms which slowed down their stuff; laptops, netbooks, tablets...
