The Steam Spring sale was about to come to an end, so I picked up Far Cry 6 for $15. I haven't played any of the others in this series outside a demo here and there (and for this one). I've gotten in about an hour or two that felt like ten minutes. Hopefully I continue to enjoy it.

I am considering All of Us P1 as it is supposedly very multi-threaded, so it should be a good way to check out 16C/32T perf in game. The other consideration is a game that I probably won't play as much as I just launch it to look at. Ghosts of Tsushima. All of the footage of that second game is absolutely gorgeous.

It is actually right on top of the limit I like to set for myself for game purchases at ~$41. Where I can it is my choice to wait out (most) games until they have been out, updated, good reviews come in, AND where the price has dropped off significantly. I don't particularly care for paying $60 for a game. This method works well for me in that I also like to stay just behind the curve on the newest PC stuff so I can pick up deals and whatnot as they try to clear the hardware out for the new thing.

You can get all of the command and conquer games for 10 dollars currently, thats a very good deal for hundreds of hours of gaming.

This was one of my favorite games for the longest time. Eventually there was an issue with clock speeds of newer CPU and the game was over in mere minutes as you were crushed by the enemy. I was glad to see someone make this playable again with a patch.

Yeah the C&C games are quite the hit, there is actually one of them called C&C 3: Kane's wrath, and the original C&C3:TW that I still recon are some of the best and most enjoyable/ challenging RTS games ever, you can still go and join others in online play if you download the revora launcher to bypass the old and now none functioning original online servers that had been taken down, there is some real competitive players and such online, but mostly I just go there sometimes to play for fun, still have these games installed and never bothered to try anything else RTS game related besides Tropico, but those are not even comparable gameplay.

Besides It's great to read that most of toms hardware forums members are into some fun and entertaining gaming themselves, I'm looking forward to the new releases that I might get my hands on soon, but in the meantime I'm playing favorites over and over, last one I played was: Splinter Cell: Blacklist, such a shame this game only works in offline mode these days for me, but maybe it's for the better that that is the case since it can become super addictive if all of this game where to still be playable fully online, anyway coming back for some single player story mode every now and again is a great time, makes for a great gaming night, or stretched out over a couple of sessions over a few days playing it all from the beginning to the conclusion of the story/campaign.

Oh, nearly forgot to mention the F1®24 PC game I just recently purchased, still playing around with it all but so far I reckon it's done really well/ fun and enjoyable game modes, specially the F1 world mode, could do with some more varied events and/or challenges in different cinereous, but it's probably has that or might be coming, but I've only seen limited gameplay possibilities in my few hours of playing, another thing noticed is that one can't seem to skip playing practice sessions when doing a career play, seems like If one is to play these modes gaming sessions could be stretched out quite some over the usual qualify and race, I for one wouldn't mind to see that resolved to make the career mode more appealing for some pro one day full calendar playthrough.

I enjoy almost all of the Tom Clancy titles. I started with the old GRAW and have moved through most of the titles. Never really got into the Vegas one and thought that Breakpoint was just crap right off the rip. It is my understanding that the latter title has been revamped to a degree as to be unrecognizable, so might go back and try again someday. I did like Wildlands a lot but it is sort of one and done for me. The game was so expansive and took me many hours to complete everything that could be done that once I killed head bad guy I just use it mostly for a benchmark tool for older hardware now.

My go to game in that series is still The Division 2. I love the mechanics, I love the gameplay. I enjoy the fact that the publisher continues to do those seasonal challenges and that they slightly change the maps from time to time such as changing a door that used to not be the way to go, etc. I also find the game visually pleasing as well. In spite of all my time playing the game I have yet to "finish" it, if there even IS a way to complete it. Each time you beat the big boss it just comes back with tougher enemies and so on. Mostly, at this point, it is me running around turning bases back as the enemy forces pretty much just follow behind doing the same.
