(Lenovo Y580) CPU clock speed and temperature jumping up and down....

Hiya. After doing a fresh install on the laptops included 32gb msata ssd, my laptop's CPU has been jumping up and down like crazy every second. I monitored this before and after installing drivers using HWiNFO64. One or two cores would even use turbo, but then jump back down the next second. It's all very unstable. Using HWMonitor for the temperatures, my motherboard is at 49-55 C, and theres absolutely no reason for that. The CPU temps would jump between 35-58C. This is all while idle. I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I have also opened up the laptop and blown out all dust.

But what is the problem really? do you notice performance or heat problems? or battery life issues? The temps are perfectly safe.

When I play games the CPU would jump to the 90s. The problem is it didn't get this high before. And as for at idle the CPU jumps 10 degress Celcius every single second. Before the fresh install, the CPU would stay at a consistent temperature.

Hmm.. I'm not sure if this applies, but did you install the turbo boost drivers? It seems quite strange, best option to me seems like RMA.
