Lenovo Y700 laptop cpu upgrade

I have a y700 17 inch lenovo laptop. I would like to upgrade the 6700 hq to something like a 8700 or 7700k. They recommend these for music production. I can't seem to find wether the chipset will accept one. If not what can I upgrade to. I would like at least a 30 percent single core performance.

You can't swap a desktop CPU into your Lenovo laptop. They use different CPU sockets.

You already have the top of the line CPU for your model. To increase your performance, you would need a new laptop.
