Question Lenovo Yoga 500 14IBD shows charging indicator as white, but doesn't turn on

I haven't used this laptop for few weeks and decided to charge it, when I waited for it to be fully charged and turned on the laptop, nothing came on, no fans, nothing.
I opened the laptop and here's some stuff I have tried:

• Reset (unplug AC, unplug battery, hold power for 30 seconds
• Reseat CMOS battery
• Reseat RAM
• Reseat battery
• Replug some cables (IOCN1, IOCN2, CP1)
• Hold "Novo" button

Nothing has worked and the laptop still won't turn on.

I also tried to turn this laptop on without the AC, nothing has worked, but I do hear some stuff. When I put my ear closer to the motherboard as I press the power button, I hear coil whine that lasts for 5 seconds, no sounds when I unplug the battery.

If you've tried draining the laptop off of any residual power, then reseated the ram and also tried with only the power brick(sans the internal battery) then it seems to me like the motherboard's power delivery is compromised, i.e, you will need to inspect the motherboard for any burnt or blown power componentry.

If you're under warranty, you should initiate an RMA.
