Lenovo Z510 touchpad not recognised.

Hello, my laptop's touchpad stopped working suddenly. It is not displayed in Device Manager. I have reinstalled the drivers too. Any help would be appreciated.

Press f6 and it should reenable the touchpad. If not, press fn+f6

I have tried that. It is not even in the list of mice and other pointing devices in Device manager!

Go to the manufacturer's website and it should have the touchpad drivers available for download from there
