I don't get why people think this is for sale. It's not. The last paragraph clearly states it is for a competition/marketing campaign.

[citation][nom]jkflipflop98[/nom]It's called an opinion. Those are separate from the world of facts. I happen to think MacBooks are hideous.[/citation]
It's a generally accepted fact that Apple invests a lot into their image. The point isn't what your opinion is, the point is that the guy was getting down-voted for stating what is considered the popular opinion.

I don't want to be Captain Obvious but, this site is not exactly known for its mac loving of any kind. Plus, popularity is subject to the crowd you happen to be around at the time. Hence the popular opinion would seem to trend against his statement, at least under the boundaries of this site.

Pretty laptop but Apple destroys the competition on looks, even though i hate Apple. I find Mac Books Pros and Mac Books in general SUPER uncomfortable to hold/use. They have the sharpest edges, which means you can rest your palms on the computer without getting cuts on your wrists and you have to type from a weird angle, and they keys are really strangly set apart, which means that anyone that actually uses a normal keyboard can't type for crap on them. And they are white and plastic which makes the normal Mac Books feel cheap. I like this Lenovo though. Btw Mac Books get SUPER hot even while doing word processing which i think is BS, learn to fan Apple 🙂 PCs have been doing it right for so many years now.

why not spend money in good things like helping the needy ppl or improving the software/hardware. who wants to carry a lappy around the neck as a jewelry.

These sparkly "upgrades" kill any and every gadget... Who really finds these million-dollar mice, phones and such attractive? Glitter makes these things unusable, therefore worthless.

It's really not that hard to make a $10,000 anything if the only thing they do is add some costly materials to it. $10,000 Toilet Seat.. platinum plated, $10,000 turkey baster, handle made of a huge ruby. Why can't they come up with a $10,000 laptop we can't have bacause it has CIA alien contacting tech in it with a quantum CPU?

[citation][nom]darkchazz[/nom]screw this P.O.S , with all that money I could get a monster rig i7 980X + 2x gtx 580 in sli + 12GB DOMINATORS + 4 SSDs + water cooling + huge 1080p 3dtv at less price.Who cares about diamonds?![/citation]

While I certainly don't disagree with you and would never make such a foolish purchase myself. However it won't take long for the diamonds alone on the laptop to be worth more (if not already) than all the products you mentioned. In fact those diamonds are likely to gain value
while everything you listed will decrease vastly and quickly. As much as I hate to admit it the better investment may be the laptop as the diamonds value increases it will eventually pay for itself.

People that don't care about your i7 980X + 2x gtx 580 in sli + 12GB DOMINATORS + 4 SSDs + water cooling and that earn more in a week than you in all your life.
