Hi all,

I would like to share my experience with the LG monitor, and I would appreciate your assistance in resolving the issue or guidance on whether I should return the monitor to LG.

We purchased three LG 24GQ50F-B monitors. While they all function well, we occasionally encounter problems when turning them on.

Specifically, when we power on the PC, the monitors sometimes do not display anything and instead show a "No Signal" message. During this time, our PC beeps, indicating an issue with the monitor. Resetting the PC temporarily resolves the problem; however, this issue does not occur with other monitor brands.

All of our PCs have different hardware configurations, and we have tested the monitors using both HDMI and DisplayPort connections.

We are working with three different PCs, each with the following specifications:

PC1:

  • CPU: Core i9-13900K
  • Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-WiFi D4
  • Graphics Card: Gigabyte 1660
PC2:

  • CPU: Core i9-12900K
  • Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-WiFi D4
  • Graphics Card: ASUS 1650
PC3:

  • CPU: Core i9-13900K
  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix-F Gaming Z790-WiFi D5
  • Graphics Card: ASUS 4060
Additionally, we have three LG monitors (model 24GQ50F).

Occasionally, when we power on a PC, it beeps three times and there is no display on the monitor.

We have ensured that all graphics card drivers are updated, enabled the G-Sync option in the Nvidia settings, disabled HDR, and changed the DisplayPort cable. We also tested another monitor from a ASUS brand, which worked perfectly without any issues. This issue is present across all 24GQ50F monitors.

Regarding our experience and my testing, this model appears to be defective and needs to be replaced with another monitor. I contacted LG's support team, and they informed me that all the monitors need to be sent back for repair.
