The 27UD69P doesn't support FreeSync over HDMI, only over DisplayPort at 48–60 Hz.

Actually, it does. There is some confusion about this monitor because the manual says that Freesync over HDMI is supported while the website says only Displayport works. There is a video showing Freesync over HDMI here
