LG 34UC87C Sharpness Issue with Display Port

Since I got the monitor\ two days ago, The Image looks too sharp meaning text has halo's around it. I've tried everything from turning down sharpness completely through The Monitor settings to even increasing DPI scaling in Windows 10. Tonight however I tried HDMI and now everything looks right, Problem is it's only 50Hz. I've tried two different Display Port cables and even tried different display ports on my 980 Ti. What could be causing this? Have a replacement on the way but won't be here till Monday.

Turns out it was the monitor. Replacement Monitor is perfectly fine.
