Question LG 42 OLED C4 as Monitor vs Ultra Wide OLED?

I use a 42" LG C4 as a gaming monitor. I have a 4070Ti right now but plan to upgrade to a 4090 at some point after Blackwell reduces the prices a bit.

The C4 is mounted to the wall and I have a deep desk, so I sit I guess about 3.5' from it.

It's not overwhelming or anything, but I'm curious if going with an ultrawide OLED gaming monitor (Samsung Odyssey, Alienware, etc.) even though a bit smaller, would improve my experience?

i had a 40.5" TV as my primary display for some time
and switched to a 34" ultra-wide a few years ago.

i would much rather be gaming on the ultra-wide, field of view can be much wider and allow more peripheral view throughout.
but just for regular computing tasks, it doesn't make much difference.

if i could afford it, i would love to even move up to a super ultra-wide 32:9 display.
