Question LG 45GS96QB Sound issue

This is a weird issues. My sound goes out once and while. It happens when i alt tab playing COH2 on steam. The problem is i go into sound in windows and 7.1 is checked off when it should be stereo because its just internal speakers.
Today the sound went out completly i also pluggedin my ps5 pro and no sound. I unplugged the monitor and plugged back in and it fixed it.
My question is is there anything i can do to stop this from happening ? Firmware ?

Using your serial number of LG's support site, see if there are any firmware updates pending. Seeing how this issue isn't confined to a PC but also showing up on when a PS5 is hooked up would mean either a firmware issue/bug or our cables are compromised.

Speaking of cables, have you swapped out with another set?
