Always like to see more Windows Phones. However the "Knock On" feature isn't new. The Lumias feature a Glance screen that you can double tap to turn on as well.

You don't even need Glance for that to work. You can enable this feature completely independently of Glance. Go to Settings -> Touch -> Wake up (On/Off). It's been available for some time on Lumia devices (and possibly others).

Anyway, this looks like a nice phone for the price.

Wow I was about ready to declare Windows Phone 10 DOA, but to see a major manufacturer like LG making a full featured WP10 phone, I want to see if HTC and Samsung will follow suit.

No one is going to make a new WP 8.1 flagship model while WP 10 is sitting in the wings. Which kinda sucks, since any new 8.1 device should easily upgrade to WP 10.

Easily yes but only after the carriers jerk around for half a year or so.

There has been news/rumours that win10 upgrades would come directly from MS. So no longer waiting that your phone carrier will do something about of utilizing it...
