Question LG DVD player doesn't recognize USBs

Hi all.

I bought my LG DVD player back in 2010 ,and it has always been recognizing and playing USBs,when connected to my LG LCD TV (also bought in 2010 ) but via HDMI.

I have now connected the DVD player to an old Philips TV from the '90s via simple SCART cable with 4 pins.
And when I connect any USB to the DVD it says ''No file available'' !
It shows that an USB has been connected to the DVD ,but it doesn't open it at all.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

What the file type/system support on the dvd player?

Have you checked that same USB drive, with that same DVD player , on your old HDMI setup?
