Lg Dvd Writer Burning Problem

Hello, I am having LG DVD Writer issue. It no longer format and burn DVD-RW but instead it formats and burn DVD+R.

I had similar issues with a Samsung DVDRW. It never was right. You can look for a firmware upgrade, but these are less common as there is little attention on these drives.

Ultimately, I just needed a new drive, which solved the issue. Thankfully, there are options for under $20.
