Looking to buy a phone among the two. I'm buying it from a friend, so these are the only options I have. The LG G3 is the AT&T variant. So, which phone will be better? Battery life is not a problem for me since I have a secondary phone. My usage will be whatsapp, Facebook and mails. I won't play games, maybe an hour per week

The only difference between a locked and unlocked version is the ability to use the unlocked phone on another network (T-Mobile in this case). Well, there is one other benefit: You could install the T-Mobile G3 ROM onto the AT&T phone (you need to flash it manually). The T-Mo ROM has much less bloatware and will still work on the AT&T network.

Regarding the screen, no there is not much perceivable difference between the two different resolutions for LCD screens.

We have reviews for both phones, so you can read those. Personally, I'd go with the G3. It has fewer issues and the replaceable battery will be important if you plan on keeping the phone for awhile.

Hi. Thanks for your answer. Can you tell me if there is any difference between an unlocked AT&T G3 and a normal G3? Also, is there a huge difference between 1440p and 1080p screens?
