Question LG GP850 vesa screw length ?

Hi,

I have a question about LG vesa screw length. What is the minimum and maximum length that can go inside the monitor. In manual it says to use 1cm screw and in another section it says 0.8mm, so is the 0.8mm the maximum that can go inside the panel without damaging it ?

The vesa screws that come with the monitor and are currently screwed inside the monitor are 1cm (I asume havent tested them yet). The ones that came with the Vesa mount are 1cm and an additonal 1.6cm set. My vesa mount is 0.5mm thick, so using the 1cm screws would have only 0.4-0.5mm screw length that goes inside the monitor, is this enough ?

The second option with 1.6cm screws and washer would go inside 1cm.

Or should I try to purchase 1.2-1.3cm screws so it would go the exact 0.8mm inside the monitor ?

0.8 mm is the thread pitch for M4 screws.

The screw length is defined in the VESA standard, it uses 10 mm M4 screws which is what the mount came with, just use the included screws.

Thanks for your reply, so even with the 0.5cm mount thickness I should use the 1cm screws.

So 0.4-0.5cm screw length inside the monitor is enough ?
