My plasma LG Plasma 60PV250 seems to have a max refresh rate of 60 Hz - is this correct? (On this page http://www.lg.com/au/tvs/lg-60PV250-plasma-tv it says '600Hz Max Sub-field Driving Yes (600Hz MAX)' I don't even know what that means).
HWInfo seems to think its a different model (50pc1dr-ua) and thinks it has a 'maximum pixel clock' of 160 mhz, and lists one supported mode as 1920*1080 pixel clock 138.5 Mhz - is this relevant? Also, in the tv setup there are various modes available, including a 'gaming' mode - should I select that? I can't find any discussion of the modes in the manual!
I like the big screen, but I'm wondering if for gaming I'd be better using my benq RL2455HM - any thoughts on this?
I'm confused by the different measures thrown around here - refresh rate, response time etc. Is there an easy guide I can start to look at to understand the terminology etc to properly compare different monitors / tv's for gaming?
Thank you
