What type of cables are you using to connect them.
What resolution are you are you displaying.

There should be a setting on your Mag254 where to route the sound: HDMI, analog or digital out.

My TV LG 55" LCD - MAG Model :- MAG 254 2.28 - IB - 00 01
Cables are HDMI supplied with box, also tried some spares of my own. Also tried different type Ethernet cables..
Tried both ports on TV HDMI 1 & HDMI 2.
Used every conceivable config in the TV Audio settings.
Also in the MAG box settings Then reverted back to original settings.

Picture Brilliant and HD and All channels working!!!!........Is it completely goosed

Me too! My magbox 256 has no sound all of a sudden

I had the Same problem and I changed the the
auto framerate to : Disable
Force DVI to: off
And Walaa the sound is back worth try
