Not sure if anyone can help me -- this is for a tablet. I have a two questions and have tried to solve myself but with no luck. I have an LG VK700 tablet purchased from Verizon. When contract was up I cancelled Verizon on this tablet. However, all Verizon Apps. remain and when I turn it on it has Verizon Logo -- I have removed apps. numerous times but they come back. I use the tablet with our Home Wifi. Can I somehow remove all references to Verizon on the tablet or am I stuck with all this forever? Also, went into my e-mail on the tablet yesterday and I have folders on my laptop with different files in them. On the tablet - I have the folders but when I touch to open shows no files in the folders.....how to I get them to show. I am having issues with my laptop and am afraid it is going to crash and I have important e-mails/files in these folders. Any help is appreciated - as I said - not sure if this site assists with tablets or just computers. Thank you in advance for any help at all.

To get rid of the Verizon branding you need to wipe it with a custom ROM. I would not bother with that. About email on the table vs the laptop, it depends on where the email is saved and how it was saved. If you go to your email webmail client, do they show up then?

Okay - I had to go to Play Store and install Yahoo - before just touched the @ (mail) symbol on my home screen and everything was there so not sure what happened. I am just completing the Yahoo download and then will check the mail to be sure my folders are there and all contents of folders are there. It finished and seems that all is there - THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I was told my laptop hard drive is failing and cannot get it fixed right now so I will have to use tablet in interim. I am not sure what a custom ROM is and how do I get it? If I can't figure it out we have a few computer places that may be able to do it for a reasonable fee. I will check out the ROM info. on line and see what is involved. Thank you again....Linda
