LG TV HDR Question

I am not sure if this is the right forum, but hopefully it is. I have a LG TV that I have been trying to figure out this HDR issue for years. Certain apps have HDR show up occasionally in the top right corner, the TV picture flashes for a few seconds and then resumes. This happens repeatedly during the telecast. I have tried everything to turn it off, but even if I turn off HDR for that port, it shows back up.

I am also using a HDMI 4K SwitchDeck, and have 5 different HDMI devices plugged into it. I feel like the issue was happening prior to purchasing the switchdeck, but could that possibly be the issue? And it is trying to force HDR, even if I disable it within the TV?

65UH6550-UB. However, I did disconnect it from the switchdeck yesterday and had no issues. And I was having issues minutes before on the same app and channel. So it seems to be switchdeck related and not necessarily the TV.

My initial thought is the switch may have issues, especially if it isn't at least HDMI 2.1 compliant.

As for the TV, if it sees an HDR signal, it's going to try and go into HDR mode, I'm not aware of any way to outright disable it. As an example, my LG C2 will go into Dolby Vision mode whenever Windows tries to output HDR in Dolby format (thanks to an annoying Windows bug :/), and there's no way to outright disable this.

IDK I have a C4 and found that its turning off the Dolby Vision that solves a lot of problems like that. The Dolby Vision setting is buried at the end of the General, External Devices, HDMI settings menu on my C4.
