lga 771 xeon cpu on lga 775 motherboard

intel dg41cn motherboard
3gb ddr2 ram

will xeon e5450 support my motherboard if i use
lga 771 to 775 mod adapter?

For Intel G31/G41/P31/Q35/P43/Q45/P45 LGA775 Chipset MainBoard lga 771 to 775 supported
and my motherboard is DG41CN and hasn't been tested will is it worth the risk

Well it sounds like you should be OK. LGA771 must be a subset of 775

my motherboard is intel and is not on compatibility list though there are other compatible motherboard brands like

Foxconn G31 MXP
Foxconn MCP73S01
AsRock G41M-VS3
AsRock G41C-GS
Gigabyte X38T-DQ6
Gigabyte G41MT-S2P

with G41 in the end


my model is intel DG41CN
will it worth the risk ?
