Question lga1155 motherboard connections

Hi asking about installing rgb lighting on motherboard,lga1155 it doesn't seem to have a rgb header on motherboard,I've looked up and found splitter board 5,4 pin and 5, 3 pin( ||•| ) I'm assuming these are rgb plug).the splitter has 3 connectors SATA,power I assume ,4 pin CPU fan connector,and rgb connector was wondering because i don't have 3 pin connector if splitter would still work the only socket that is close is system fan but I couldn't find any convertors for this .any help appreciated

Don't remember seeing RGB enabled motherboards with an 11 year old platform.

at the time 1155 was produced, there was no RGB around 😉
you will have to use a dedicated RGB controller

O.k. but I was wondering if I could connect an rgb extend board which runs through SATA power and CPU fan connection only or would I have to physically plug it also into a rgb header to work

the fan of the RGB fan can be plugged into the CPU fan connection and the RGB can be powered by sata, but only be controllable by a RGB controller
