[SOLVED] Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL ROG Certified - USB 3.1 Gen. 2 _ where should I connect it?

Aloha,

Has anyone successfully connected the USB 3.1 Gen.2 cable (pre-attached in the front interior top left of the case) to the MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk Wifi?

2/ I was thinking perhaps I'm supposed to hook it up to this header [the rectangular one just above the circular thingie]?

It's labeled JUSB5 on the mobo and the MSI's manual explains it's a USB 3.2 Gen 2 header (linked to the USB Type-C port on the front panel). If I leave it unoccupied, does this mean I won't be able to use the Type-C port on the front panel?

the name change/rebranding was a bit confusing. Lian Li calls it by it's old name (USB 3.1 Gen 2) whereas MSI refers to it as USB 3.2 Gen 2 and I didn't realize they were one and the same lol
