mine micro atx get an i5 3470 at 4.0ghz/ and another one with 3770k 4.6ghz. micro atx is good to lan party... i don´t need 15kg setup to say mine computer have balls

It would be a good solution for a full tower with an adequate lower compartment. Maybe even one on each side.

Ooh, I like that - and putting it in a small form factor is exactly where it should be - that's where space matters.

I'd like to see this proof-of-concept go further and become standard in fancier cases.

Like daveg points out, this feature has been "inspired" by the NCASE M1, which Lian-Li are OEM'ing.

They need to catch up to others who make cases that can take big rads. I would love to own a Lian Li case that can take 360-420-480 mm radiator up top and another 280-360 mm radiator at the bottom with 2x140 mm fans for intake up front. It seems that they are more focused on mATX/ITX and aircooled ATX cases.

I did almost the exact same thing to my LianLi PC60 way back in the day. Loctite, and a small Piano Hinge. LOL

Heatsinks for ram are purely aesthetic anyways, so all it takes is knowing that.

+1, With the exception to rather extreme memory overclocking, tall heat spreaders are not actually needed on memory.

I do not know if that thing gets THAT close anyway, most if not all g-skill would still fit under it(tall heat spreaders, but not ridiculous).
