Lightning messed up a connector on my router, can I make a crossover to connect my modem to another connector?

My wireless router has a place that I can plug the cable from my modem into, but it was destroyed from lightning, there are other connector's to plug Ethernet cables into my computer or whatever, can I create a crossover cable so the modem can go into the router? If not, are there any other solutions?

Assuming your cable modem does not have an integrated router, you cannot use a different port on your router to connect the two. A crossover cable will not help.

You need a router with a functioning WAN (Internet) port.

Edit: You might check to see if DD-WRT firmware is compatible with your router. I believe there may be a way to reconfigure a LAN port to work as a WAN.
