[This is my first thread so let me know if I am formatting this wrong]

Hello! Hope you're having a great day!

I just need some help with removing/bypassing Lightspeed Filter Agent. My "friend" (more like a tech-savvy antagonist) thought it would be funny to install it onto my computer. He was a technology admin at a school, so I'm assuming he installed it like a school admin would. I would as him, but he just recently died in a car crash. Anyway, the program is installed in C:\ProgramFiles on my computer. I need admin access to delete the file. I don't know how to get rid of it, and I don't currently have the finances to hire somebody to do something about it. I have a Windows 10 computer. It is currently blocking every site I try to access. (I am writing this from a computer in a library) Does anybody know how to bypass/uninstall this?

That's not the way to do it - you could make things worse.

The usual way to uninstall a program is via Settings -> Apps -> Apps & Features. Or, you can still do it the old-fashioned way via Control Panel -> Programs & Features.

Hopefully it'll be as simple as that 🫰
