Heard of proof reading? An entire paragraph has been repeated...
Just a glitch in the Matrix. Nothing to see here.

If OP actually bothered to read the data sheet which says this OCUlink supports PCIe Gen4x4, also did some research on other GPD devices like GPD Win Max 2 which also has a PCIe Gen 4x4 on it. You would figure out that this is a Oculink 2.0 port with 63 GT/s which is much higher than USB4/Thunderbolt4, and also know. If OP also bothered to read the indiegogo page you would find a place where it says you can connect both OCUlink and USB ports so that you can use the entire dock which would obviously be very beneficial to have all that extra bandwidth to feed the GPU.

It depends on it either being x4 or x8 pci-e in the cable itself before we see this in a gaming laptop or workstation server level laptop like on hp Z book series here vs regular tb4 and if any licensing issues arise here in opting to mass adopt oculink over tb4 for GPUs and fast optane gen5 external combined adds before we see an ar/vr headset using oculink here for laptops or on a workstation gpu. I think oculink can replace a lot of external ports for displays as well as ads and gpus/headset here if the bugs are ironed out and the cost is way cheaper than it is now using usb-c/tb4 for a combined power charging display fast data transfer cable for all external devices.
