Link cortana to outlook contacts

Hi every time i ask cortana to access my contacts it just brings up a web page, doeas anyone know how i can link cortana with my outlook contact or people in my app list.

Is your copy of Outlook from Office 365? I believe the straight integration only work with Office 365.

You can share you contacts with the people app, which Cortana can see. But I don't think that is a real time upkeep, so if you change your contacts a lot it can get out of date.

Yeah I'm positive Cortana will never be able to read directly from that. Microsoft isn't letting any of it's new stuff play nice with older versions of their software, they want everyone to upgrade, upgrade, upgrade forever.

Do you know iv'e noticed that on a lot of software lately windows 10 knocked my ccleaner off and said no longer compatible so now iv'e had to use a different program.
Thanks for the input it is what i thought so will just keep using my iphone and siri for that stuff.
