Linksys is better then belkin.

Now WiFi is just not good for gaming. No matter if you spend $300 on a router you are still going to have more latency/ping times with wifi.
If you can not connect via hardwire to your router for gaming, then the next best option is to get a powerline networking kit to send the data over your power wires from your router to where your PC is. This will have better real world speed and latency/ping vs wifi.
