[citation][nom]bk420[/nom]Looks like he's happy to see another failure[/citation]

and what is that?! would you be more specific please?!! thanks!

[citation][nom]randomizer[/nom]If you check the original article you'll see that the whole thing was a bit of a joke.[/citation]

Yet anoher example of the sensationalist headlines that have been running rampant here lately. Seriously Marcus, give it a rest.

He was giving a "thumbs up" to the photographer that just commented that all those copies of Win 7 were still on the shelves.

First thing I thought when I saw the headline was, "Blasphemy!"
After reading many posts on numerous articles at this site I have come to the conclusion that many of the posters are little kids still in school, maybe grade school. I just love how the little MS fanboy trolls on this site slam posts that are negative toward the convicted monopolist Microsoft. After they click a negative comment on everyone they probably fire up their crapbox 360 and play Halo, if their mom's let them.

Of course all the l33t h4x0rs linux kiddies have to come on here and hemorrhage blood through the eyes at the fact that Linus Torvalds (whom if you ever read his blog, is actually a very reasonable, cool person), doesn't share your adolescent hatred of all things MS just because its "MS". Yes, i realize this picture was intended to mock MS for trying to torpedo this symposium, but if you read other statements he has made, he has generally positive things to say about Windows 7, and has even recently been bashing linux distros for being too bloated.

Spot on. Linus is (from all accounts..never had the pleasure of meeting him) a good guy and a fair judge of things.

But, he was obviously hamming it up for the camera.

I got a good laugh out of it. Almost as big of a laugh I got from the latest Mac ads about Windows 7 🙂

[citation][nom]ssalim[/nom]A good product is a good product proven to be good by many.Even if President Obama were giving a thumbs down on Win7, it's still a good product.[/citation]

lol For some reason, you got voted down for that. I loved it!

[citation][nom]ossie[/nom]That store is somewhat full of windblow$ retail copies and utterly empty of buyers... Maybe the crowd of eager m$ lu$ers is just waiting in front of the $hop. Or not?Another resounding microsuxx $ucce$$ story... for delusional wintarded m$ fankiddies.Right... Way to go m$![/citation]

The stalking shall continue until you repent your ways of fail. Did I mention that you fail? Your post doesn't even make sense, and I'm fairly sure you made fun of yourself in it. Do you even realize that there were more Windows 7 beta users than there are users of all Mac OS's combined?

Microsoft, Intel and Amd are responsible with their products for the most of the evolution of human race at the last decades.

Think about all the sectors of the science which they have take positive boost from the computers. Try thinking the world without the spread of the computers.

Microsoft always had as philosophy the wildest possible spread of computers and the friendliest use of them.

So I think Torvalds has think about that and gave a thumb up to the Microsoft.
