Hi all

I have the Ryzen 7600X CPU.

I have had the Corsair H115i Platinum AIO on my build for 5 years now. I’m looking to replace it but I’m thinking of going for an air cooler as the prices are a bit out of my budget on the AIOs now. Also I don’t know how much longer this AIO will last so I want something I can rely on. Currently on idle I’m getting 60+- and when gaming it goes up to around 74 or so but I doubt that’s relevant.

I’m looking at the Deepcool AK500 aswell as the AK400 which I’m not sure what the difference is but those are the options I have as the stock is limited to my region.

Any help would be much appreciated

AK 500 is a bit higher priced and will cool a bit better. As far as I know, they are both good coolers in their price class.

Don't know what is available to you or at what price you would balk completely.

Don't know the prices at your location and don't know your fear level about temps generally.

That CPU is not particularly demanding, but we don't know details like case airflow, room temperatures, etc.

You would need to confirm they are not too tall to fit in your case.

In all honesty, you shouldn't need to replace your cooler unless you're seeing adverse temps in your build. Make and model of your case? Number of fans in your case and their orientation? How is your AIO mounted in your case?

The Case is Corsair Carbide 5
Radiator is mounted in the front which are intakes, two 120mm fans on top for exhaust aswell as the rear 120mm for exhaust and my gpu is vertically mounted which is the 4070ti

This ? If so, that case has bad intake with a mostly blocked off front panel, with two mere slits on the sides to let cooler ambient air in.
Yep.
Nothing against front installed radiators, but the cooler doesn't perform as well as it could when stacking air resistance like that(the front panel + the radiator itself is a form of resistance).
It's either install the radiator against meshed panels or go air cooler, IMO.
Perhaps consider a new case, but you'll still need a new cooler when the AIO bites the dust.

Where are you shopping from(possibly a link?), because is Deepcool really the only option?
