Liquid Cooler Placement

Here are my case dimensions:

Should I buy this CPU cooler and place it at the top of the case or?

IMO, the 360mm cooler in front is the better option, especially for that high core count CPU. Even more so if you have plans to overclock. Even if you don't strictly NEED that level of cooling, it will certainly allow you to operate at whatever level of performance you need while greatly reducing the noise levels from high RPM fan operation on the smaller cooler since the larger surface area will do a better job of removing heat from the system without the need for as much high speed fan operation.

But certainly either of those coolers will work in either of those configurations. If you top mount, I recommend that you configure the cooler for an exhaust configuration, and obviously if you front mount you will want it to be configured for intake.

Probably, but just about anybody else is going to tell you the same thing if they are knowledgeable in this area or with cooling configurations in general.
