Hello, I am using Liquid Freezer II 420 A-RGB water cooling
I have only 2 cables, 1 4 pin for connection, second for rgb
In the asus manual for the motherboard, they recommend connecting water cooling to an aio pump or w pump
Asus say this is recommended, but this way the fans are running at full speed
The motherboard is asus rog maximus z790 hero
If anyone has a similar problem, please share an opinion
Thanks

Hook the 4pin fan connector coming off of the AIO to CPU_FAN header and see if that manages your fans better.

That's exactly what I did
The system is silent and everything works
But according to asus it is not recommended
The problem is that Artic does not have 2 cables, for pump and fans, everything is in one 4 pin cable

asus doesnt recoomends it because of 1A limit on CPU fan, water pump header usualy has higher amper rating (2A)
your four fans draws 0.68A and pump 0.2A, that fits into 1A of CPU header
