Question Liquid Metal cooling question on CPU (laptop)

So unfortunately my asus laptop have liquid metal nonsense instead of good old thermal paste. Is there any stuff I should avoid? I heard and read it leaks rest of the laptop and ruins everything. Should I use a elevated curved cooling pad or make it completely static placement? Thank you

I would leave it as is. It's only when you're applying/removing/reapplying it and not being careful is when things go downhill from there.

Okay, static placement then. My only issue is that these cooling pads are so cheap runs on USB2.0 doesn't even run fast even on level 5 speed. Anyways thanks.
