Hi. For how long dellided CPU with liquid metal under IHS hold it's temperatures? After what time and how much could CPU's temperatures raise after dellid?

Solution
Yeah, liquid metaling a cpu is very niche. Probably even more niche than gpu AIO cooling, or right there with it.

I had my 7820X delidded by Silicon Lottery soon after I bought it at launch(August 2017). About 3 years later, I went 'screw it', removed the IHS entirely and went direct die.
Scared myself, as I didn't have a Plan B if things went south.
Since I took the lid off, I suppose my situation is a bit different from those who kept the lid on.
Considering that manufacturers are starting to use it (such as in the PlayStation 5 or ASUS with some of their laptops), the chances it will last at least a few years to indefinitely.

But it could depend on a variety of factors, such as the LM you use, the application, etc.

Almost everyone had his CPU delided and no one knows? :O I ask because one guy who is deliding CPUs for money said that temperature in his 9900K raised 12 celcius degrees in 2 years, so I wonder if he is so kind of amateur, used too much LM, or it's just naturally.

LM is known to have reactions with the surfaces it is on.
It's possible his heatsink suffered some kind of galvanic corrosion over time.
Usually with copper and nickel this effect is limited, but still exists to an extent.
I recently removed my heatsink with LM after 3yrs. It was so well "bonded" to the IHS that it removed the cpu from the socket and I had to pry it off the heatsink with a razer blade. The LM on the heatsink was solid and I had to sand it off. It had clearly changed and had some kind of reaction with the nickel coating on the bottom of the heatsink. I can't say I noticed temperature changes over time, but then I didn't pay close attention.

I delidded an i7 7700K and used Conductonaut, very easy and temperatures remained stable for the couple of years I used it. The TIM was changed with the i9 9900KS however I bought that CPU from Silicon Lottery and had them do the delid - relid process with Conductonaut applied, after a year I removed the IHS and everything looked brand new, like day one. I reapplied Conductonaut and saw no temperature difference from the previous year, so it with that in mind it should last as long as the CPU does without needing replaced between the die and IHS. EDIT: Regarding TIM between the IHS and CPU cooler, liquid metal does not migrate or "squish out" over time like other forms of TIM and should not need to be reapplied every year or two except in instances where a tiny bit more Conductonaut may need to be applied if the IHS has warped too much due to cycling and therefore not enough liquid metal to adhere to the entire surface.
