Can someone get me a list of am3 cpus? Don't tell me oh don't get am3 its dad, oh kaby lake, oh ryzen, look I just need am3 nothing else please help me

Getting a list of CPUs is not the best route to go.

Just because the CPU is the correct socket does not mean your motherboard supports it. Many people found that out the hard way when they tried to put a 125w "8 core" fx chip in their bottom end motherboard.

Best thing you can do is like rgb said and look at your motherboard support list.
If you google your motherboard model the first or second result will the the OEMs webpage for that board, from there you can find the cpu support list.
Anything not on that list is not going to work.

And no, an AM3+ cpus will not work in an AM3 socket. Had you bothered to google/research at all you would see that AM3+ has 942 pins while AM3 has only 941. Thus physically you cant put an AM3+ CPU into an AM3 socket.

On a side note: I like your avitar.

First, take a deep breath.

Then get either another motherboard or CPU.

AM3+ CPU needs an AM3+ motherboard.

The best you can get is a phenom ii x6 1100T.
However the used market for this is quite high (around $150) to the point where you could get better cpu AND motherboard for the same cost.

You have the CPU support list, so start going up the list from X6 (5th from the bottom) and into X4 and see what one you can find at a decent price.

Best options that PCPartPicker are showing right now are the Athlon II X4 640 ($75 USD) & 645 ($95 USD) (https://pcpartpicker.com/products/cpu/#k=3&sort=price&page=1). Basically, they're Phenom II X4 940/945 chips with the L3 cache disabled. Tom's Hardware rates them as 4th-tier CPUs (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cpu-hierarchy,4312.html), right behind the Phenom II X4 975/980 & X6 1090T/1100T chips. It's possible some other vendors might have something else available -- given the choice, I'd prefer a CPU with the L3 cache on it myself -- but you may not have a whole lot of selection out there.

As to getting a Socket AM3 CPU...
-- If you're doing this because your old CPU is busted, but everything else is working OK & you don't need newer hardware (i.e. playing much older games or using it primarily as a HTPC or for email/Internet surfing), then just getting a replacement Socket AM3 CPU makes a lot of sense.
-- If you're doing this because someone gave you the motherboard (& either the RAM & other parts, or you have them leftover from a prior build), then again, as long as this is for a secondary PC you should be fine.
-- If you're doing this because you plan on buying that Crosshair III motherboard, DON'T. You're better off going with something much newer -- heck, even an FX-8320-based system will outperform this one. If you just bought the motherboard, take it back pronto & get your money back.
