Lithium battery in power supply

hello every one. can any one please enlighten me, what is the purpose of Lithium battery in this PSU ?

Your Amazon link makes no mention of a lithium battery, nor does the manufacturer's own page:

Please post link to the page where it says it has a lithium battery.

Actually, it does: "Lithium battery weight 7g". I can only think it got in there by accident. Why would a PSU have a Lithium battery and why would you worry what it weighed?

Okay, i too doubted that it could be a mistake. but such mistakes confuses the buyers and creates more doubts about the rest of the product description. thanks for the reply

It's an error. PSU has no need of a lithium battery. A UPS yes, but not a PSU.

It doesn't mention lithium battery on manufacturer's web page and they should know their own products better than the retail supplier. That's where you need to look in future when you see something in the product info that puzzles you on a vendor's website.
