Loading operating system boot from CD/DVD

Hi so I did a clean install of windows 7 from windows 10 because it was giving me "loading operating system boot from CD/DVD" , but now windows 7 is showing up "loading operating system boot from CD/DVD" the same exact error. It's genuine windows key. sometimes it works for a couple hours. What I do when it goes to that screen I turn it off for a couple hours and it works again for some time. Could it be hard drive issues? Or ram?

try going into your computer bios (usually delete, f10 or f12 when you first turn on your computer ) and make sure the hard drive is set to boot first.

it is. what other option do i have? could it be hardware?

sometimes, if i leave it off for a while it works, as off right now i did windows repair and now it is not booting,

hmm. im stumped. maybe take it to a repair shop or a best buy and see what they think.

before i did a clean install of windows i would sometimes get this error showing a lot of numbers next to an "IDE Drive" and i would have to turn it off and hope for it to work again
