Question Loading screen of previous game showing when loading a different game?

Hi, this has been happening for a while now and im not sure how to fix it.

For example, i will load a game called Gauntlet then when finished load up a game called smite. When i load up Smite i see the loading screen for Gauntlet?

This happens on nearly every game i have played for the last year or so.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have this problem with some older games that are win32 applications. When I exit to desktop I find the game is still running in task manager. After you exit the game hit ctrl-alt-del to open task manager and see if it's listed under 'processes'. If so, right click on it and choose 'end process'. You should be good to go. I don't know if there's an actual fix for this issue, but this is the workaround I use.
