"Local Area Connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration

I was watching a twitch stream and my pc suddenly lost the Internet a trouble shoot shows I do not have a valid IP and searching through forums hasn't helped as I have tried most of the fixes and have been unsuccessful. Also when I try Ipconfig /renew I get an error "unable to contact your DHCP server" looking for any help or tips to solve this thank you

check the led on the ethernet port of your pc if your hard wired. make sure there blinking. if your using a router try another port or plug the pc into the cable modem itself.
