Hi. It seems that today, the usual Local Disk (D: ) in My Computer now shows only as [ (D: ). Where did the words "Local Disk" go? The other drives are fine. What does this mean to my D Drive?

[Note: I have had to put a SPACE between : and ), otherwise it shows it as smiley face in the text]

Solution
'Local Drive' is Windows usage if there is no actual drive name, it's a default. If you rename the drive by using Any letter (space is a letter no different from period or alphabet or tab or comma) you'll lose the 'local drive' and get _ (D): etc.
