Question .lock_XXXX files on HDD?

These only appear as it looks on my shadowplay (nvidia instant replay recordings) folder on my old HDD, I don't have any of these files on my SSD where I also have recordings.
I never use any file encryption software.
I found 0 zero on these files googling it.
