Log On Notifications

I get a message under my logon name that says I have "x"
number of unread emails. How can I turn that
notification off?

You can do this in TweakUI > Logon > Unread Mail. TweakUI is available
from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp.
