Only thing is ............ I never entered a password in the first place & now all of a sudden it starts this prompt when booting .... ??

Anyone help me out ??

this is the first time you've booted up w2000? did you install it or is this a comp that came with w2000 preinstalled? if you installed it you HAD to have entered a password, around the time in the installation where you specify computer name, product key, etc. if you got it preinstalled on a computer you bought, just click ok, then go to control panel/users, select administrator and click the set passoword button.

CPUs are like testicles, every computer should have 2!
