Is there anyway to set a computer that is using XPHome edition to go directly
to the desktop without clicking anything or putting in a password? I have a
high powered graphics card that makes my computer boot very slowly. I like to
just get home and turn my computer on, walk away and come back and have my
desktop up. I don't want the welcome screen or the password. I am an admin on
this computer.

I don't know why a "high powered graphics" card would slow down a system's
boot but if you wish to boot directly to the desktop, here's how:
Click on Start and run: type in control userpasswords2
Uncheck the box User must enter a username and password.

You might want to try the following:

Go to Start -> Run.
Copy and paste the following into the Open box:

control userpasswords2

Click OK.
Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer".
In the box that pops up enter your user name and
password (you can leave the password box blank if your account
does not have a password).
Click OK twice and reboot to see if you get the desired results.
