Logitech G27 Software Issue

I've had my Logitech g27 for at least 4 years now and I use it off and on all throughout the year and for the past year ive been running into this issue... When I go to startup the Logitech gaming software for the wheel it will sometimes read as a Logitech Drive Force which I have never even owned nor connected one to my pc ever. I can fix it by uninstalling the software and reinstalling it but that becomes a hassle when I have to do it almost every single time i decide i want to use my wheel! If anyone could help me on the hunt for the solution to this it would be much much appreciated.
