If I turn off the LED backlight on Logitech G413 SE, will it stay turned off after I reboot the computer?
I don't care about lighting mode or intensity, I just want it to stay permanently off.

Thanks.

I own a G105 MW3 Edition and it always resets after a power cycle, so that always meant I had to cycle through the lighting settings to get it to turn off. No offense but in the time it takes for you to get a response or for you to follow up, you'd have been able to find that answer yourself by a reboot on your own machine.

Thanks for the welcome, Lutfij.

I don't own the keyboard, I am merely considering buying it.

The reddit thread is about G413, I am asking about G413 SE. One might (reasonably) assume that the situation will be similar, but the former model is programmable using Logitech's software while the latter is not (it would seem).

EDIT: to be more precise, I do not mind if the keyboard lights up while the machine is booting (or at some other stage), what I want is to not have to turn the lights off manually each time I turn on the computer.

You would have to turn the lights off every time you boot, but you wont do that since the labeling is transparent and becomes almost invisible with the lights turned off. Multiple users of the TKL version of the G413 SE reported that the LED under the End or Home keys failed. One user got it to light up again while exerting pressure on the End key hinting at a broken connection. Also they seem to be RGB LEDs set to white as users had keys turn yellow after a while. Same happens on the G915 though, so it's not just being budget.

Meanwhile the €10 rubber dome Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 I use to type this is still 100% operational after 4 years 4 months and one or the other spill of tea got caught by the keyboard tray before even finding a way inside where the rubber dome sheet acts as a natural protection for the circuitry. 😉
