I bought Logitech G430 Headset few months ago, but about week ago it started having some sound issues. Basically when I'm gaming and listening to music the sound cracks or the volume keeps jumping up and down ( not much but still noticeable ).
I don't have any of those issues when I'm just surfing the web or watching videos, but when I'm gaming while listening to music it instantly starts. Is there any fix to this or should I just send this back and get a new one? Thanks :)

I've had the G430 for over 6 months without experiencing sound issues. However, when I swap from my speakers to headset while gaming, the headset wont have sound with some games.
Have you tried reinstalling the driver? Also it depends on the media player you use to listen music and hardware configuration options like "let the application have control of the volume of this device"

It seems that the problem only comes when I'm using the surround sound option and I did try reinstalling the software, but didn't work.
I "fixed" it by removing the USB thing and just using the two 3.5m connectors and currently I'm using my motherboards virtual surround sound (Asus Maximus VII Hero) and it seems to even be a bit better than logitechs.
Still if anyone finds a solution to this please post it in case someone else is having this problem.

guys try this..

i was able to adjust the volume and now it shows some improvement

1. i uninstalled the Logitech G430 under device manager
2. restarted the computer
3. after restarting the computer i plugged the USB adaptor and let the computer reinstall the G430
4. open sounds under control panel
5. under playback look for Logitech G430 Gaming Head set and click Properties
6. Under enhancements i checked the following tickbox
> Speaker Fill
> Loudness Equalization
